We love food but we not gonna to get all prissy about it.
Everything here is real stuff that we really make in our real (read: tiny) Chicago kitchens, presented with as little dressing up as possible. That means cusses and dishes that aren’t styled to death. Sometimes that means we put Malort into cake or bake one for Jesus like when we were little. Other times it means yelling at you for still eating boxed mac and cheese or serving hummus at parties in two thousand and fucking thirteen because you’re apparently the most boring human being alive. It’s never diet advice (unless we’re telling you that diets are stupid) and it’s never pictures of hot tea in a mason jar next to a polaroid of someone standing on a dirty table in cable knit socks because that shit is fucking nonsense.
It’s mostly just cheese porn and unadulterated carb parties.
We hope to put together a collection of recipes, photographs, opinions, and stories that reflects our approach to food (and life): eating food because it’s good and sharing it with enthusiasm and profanity.
